Dear Pilgrims
We have travelled together to many places of interest, excitement, wonder and joy and this has been really a journey of discovery.
There have been moments when I have wondered what the significance is of the visit to Petra, Jerash and the many churches we have visited(too many to mention here) the Sea of Galilee, Masada and then onto Jerusalem, truly a treasure of this world.
As the journey progressed some of the human and spiritual significance has been to recognise; that this is truly a holy place not only for us Christians but also for the Jews and Muslims alike.
In meeting the students at the Bethlehem University provided us with the opportunity of understanding the ‘other side of the story’ that the Palestinians are humans like us and deserve the recognition that they long for.
As this is our final day together I would like to take this opportunity of thanking you all for your friendship, companionship and I will always cherish the moments we have spent together in this short journey of great experiences.
