All Good Things Come to an End – Gerard & Linda

Dear Pilgrims, Companions, Family, Friends & Anthony(blogger),

Linda & I are sitting here having cocktails in K L, reminiscing about the last few weeks. So many highlights, too many to mention.

However, we would like to share some thoughts about you, our fellow Pilgrims;

. Fr Tim – spiritual leader and new best friend/neighbour of Isaac . Br Jerome – well known in Jerusalem, aka., Rabbi & St Jerome . Frances – glass of white wine & glass of ice
. Mignonne – what’s your best price, I’ll give you half, with a smile . Jenny – someone had to stay with mignonne till the deal was done, sorry! . Marg & Brendan – where’s Brendan, playing with that damn cat . Diane & Damian – loves to shop, never around to pay
. Audrey & Janice – loves a beer, patience of a Saint
. Joseph & Grace – where’s Grace?/ Shopping
. Nancy & Liz – fastest photographers in the East(middle)
. Reg & Laurelle – Camel jockey, true grit, well done Laurelle . Mark & Karen – great inspirational reflection leaders
. Ian & Mary – master blog man, shopping addict(best deal in Jerusalem, that white top) . Max & Andrea – swings well between his leg(potatoes), belly/pole dancing queen
. Liseby & Clency – fashion guru and photographer at any cost(incl. blinding people in tunnels) . Maryanne & Anthony – wonderful sharing, reluctant pilgrim, now converted . Maggie & Aileen – quiet achiever & her effervescent Irish companion
. Frank – last but not least, our tireless leader, who joined us as a tour guide, and became our Companion

Thanks to each and every one of you, for making our Companions Holy Land Pilgrimage 2013, a huge success. We enjoyed every moment spent with you.

We are truly Pilgrims, not Tourists, well done!

May the Passion of Jesus be always in our Hearts.

You Aussies, for sure we will have a reunion, we think you will like, YOU GUYS!!

Shukran,

Gerard & Linda

Well done to all concerned with the blog. We now have had over 10,000 views. Ironically, even though the pilgrimage finished a week ago, we had the most number of views yesterday. Must be all the folk returning to Australia.
Thanks again
Ian

So, Isaac, what do you really think of our singing? (from Ian)

Hello all.

Fellow pilgrims will recall a video of Isaac’s reaction to our singing. I have found that I can’t upload it to the blog directly, but little matters like that are only a challenge, not an obstacle.

So with a bit of luck, you can view the video by clicking on the link below.

For the folk who don’t know, Isaac was our tour guide in Israel. He is the one in the yellow shirt.

By the way, sorry Max for ruining your excellent singing

Ian

IMPORTANT -Since you need flash to make this video work, ipad users will not be able to view it. This is not necessarily a bad thing.

Photos from the Galibya party (from Ian)

By popular request, here are some photos from the Galibya party, if I spelt that correctly! You will need to click on the photos to make them bigger. Once you click on one photo, you should be able to scroll through the others by pressing the arrows.
It was a great night and a good time was had by all.
What exactly is Max doing in that photo?
Back home safely now after a marathon journey from Cairo, along with 9 other bleary eyed folk.
All the best
Ian
